DMRC invites slogans on women’s day

‘Women empowerment and Delhi Metro”, would be the theme of Slogan Writing Competition to be held by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to commemorate the ‘International Women’s Day’. The three day competition would be held from 4th to 6th March and would be open for the women commuters of the DMRC. The International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on 8th March all over the world.

According to a communiqué released by DMRC, a substantial percentage of Delhi Metro’s commuters comprises of Women and are an integral part of the system. Delhi Metro has always strived to provide a safe, comfortable and hassle – free journey to all its Women Commuters in the form of reserved seats in each coach and a separate Ladies’ coach. To salute the spirit of all women, Delhi Metro has organized this Slogan Writing Competition. All women commuters of Delhi Metro can participate in this contest through the company’s website www.delhimetrorail.com and submit their slogans in English or Hindi by filling up the form on the website. The maximum limit of the slogan is 50 words. Entries will be accepted only till 6th March 2016 (midnight). The selected entries will be suitably awarded in a function on 8th March 2016 on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Delhi Metro’s Corporate Office at Barakhamba Road, New Delhi.
