Experts unveil the budget highlights to FCCI members

In order to apprise its members of the proposed changes in the recent finance budget by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, a post budget discussion was organised by Faridabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) on March 3, 2016. The key note speakers on the occasion were renowned Dr. Raj Kumar Agrawal and CA Rakesh Gupta. While both the learned speakers explained different provisions proposed in the finance budget, from the point of view of the industry, they also acclaimed the budget as a positive one for the growth of the national economy. On this occasion President of the Chamber Sh. H.K.Batra also hailed the Finance Minister for presenting the budget with a new ideology of nine pillars. He said that while the budget apparently has no attractive schemes to lure the common man, it is actually a growth oriented budget that will not only provide a breathing space to the industry and business which is suffocating with the sluggish global economy. He said that different provisions and schemes laid down in the budget provide for growth in infrastructure, housing and employment.
Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary Ashish Jain said that the budget has actually exceeded the expectations of the people who were looking forward for the policies to promote growth. He said that it is probably the first time that any finance minister has tried to balance the inflow and outflow of finances within the proposals in the budget instead of presenting a budget with a huge deficit and providing for external resources to meet the deficit. Jain appreciated the budget by saying that it has taken care of each and every section of the society, poor in particular.
Availing the benefit of the opportunity of having two experts on the financial matters, the members interacted on different issues with the speakers.
Some of the members present on the occasion were Vice President FCCI Satish Gosain, Former Presidents J.P.Malhotra, T.C. Dhawan and M.P.Roongta, Paramjit Singh Chawla, Treasurer Sandeep Singhal and Devender Goel along with others.
