Faridabad host Meeting of National Governing Body of Bharat Vikas Parishad

Faridabad became the center of a national activity for the members of Bharat Vikas Parishad. The two day ‘National Governing Body Meeting’ started on 27th February. The meeting was hosted and organised by the Southern Haryana branch of Parishad. More than 300 members of the executives from all over the country participated in the same. Shri Sitaram Parikh National President, Shri Surendra Kumar Wadhwa working president, National General Secretary Sh. Ajay Datta and many other important office bearers marked their presence in the meeting.

The meeting was inaugurated by Member of Parliament Sh. Krishan Pal Gurjar. Also present on the occasion were Sh. J.P. Gupta Chairman Crown group, Sh. K.C.Lakhani Chairman Lakhani Group, Sh. S.K.Jain Chairman Indo group among others.

Shri Raj Kumar Agrawal, President South Haryana branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad informed that the meeting has been called upon to decide the major areas on which the Parishad would be concentrating during the financial year 2016-17. He further informed that the Governing body has decided seven thrust areas on which the Parishad would be working this financial year. These are Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Spreading awareness on drug de-addiction, Conservation of water resources, Blood Donation, All caste simple mass marriages, Treatment through Naturopathy and Yoga and necessary contribution in the field of education.

Agrawal informed that Parishad is having 1500 branches all over the country that includes 1,00,000 families.

On this occasion a souvenir was also unveiled by the chief guest. Members of host branch present on the occasion included CA Dinesh Agrawal, Sh. Arun Saraf, Sh. Anil Gupta, Sh. Pramod Tibrewal, Sh. Ashok Joshi, Sh. Santosh Agrawal and others.
