Greater Noida News (18 February 2026): On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, a large-scale community Rudrabhishek was organised for the first time at Madhuban Park, witnessing enthusiastic participation from around 350 devotees. The sacred ceremony transformed the park into a centre of spiritual fervour as devotees collectively offered abhishek to Lord Shiva amid Vedic chants and traditional rituals.

From early morning, devotees gathered at the venue, where comprehensive arrangements had been made by the organising committee. Ritual materials, systematic conduct of the पूजा-विधि, and coordinated Vedic recitations ensured a smooth and reverent observance. Participants from all age groups, including women, youth, and senior citizens, took part with devotion, reflecting strong community involvement and unity.

The atmosphere throughout the event was filled with spiritual energy as chants of “Har Har Mahadev” resonated across the area, creating a deeply devotional environment. Organisers said the collective nature of the Rudrabhishek made the occasion especially meaningful for participants.

The spiritual programme continued into the evening with a Bhajan Sandhya, where devotional songs dedicated to Lord Shiva were presented by Gagan Rathore. The soulful performance kept devotees engaged and emotionally connected, with many remaining at the venue well into the night.

Following the conclusion of the religious ceremonies, Mahaprasad was distributed among the devotees. Several participants also observed night-long chanting and meditation, dedicating the hours to prayer and spiritual reflection.

Members of the organising committee stated that this was the first mass Rudrabhishek of its kind held in Sector 15A. They described the initiative as a step towards strengthening social harmony, cultural cohesion, and spiritual awareness within the local community.

Residents of the area appreciated the effort, noting that such collective religious events foster a positive social environment and promote mutual goodwill and unity among people. The event was coordinated with the support of local volunteers and community members, and was widely regarded as a successful and spiritually uplifting observance of Mahashivratri.
