FPV Drone Racing Workshop by SDIoT at JMI takes a holistic view on Future of FPV Drone Racing in India.

18th February 2017 Smart Devices for Internet of Things (SDIoT), in close collaboration with the Indian Drone Racing League (IDRL) and CSI chapter of JamiaMilliaIslamia organized a workshop on FPV drone racing. In his opening remarks, Dr. Rajdeep Deb said FPV drone racing is emerging as most excited racing events of 21st centuries and India should not lag behind this.

SDIoT has launchedits pan India training program that will offer beginners workshops on FPV Drone Racing around the India to build a community of drone racing pilot.Theprogramme of the workshop covered the link between FPV drone racing and fundamental of physics behind flying. The workshop was conducted by India’s first generation of drone pilot Mr. AyanPahwa. Participants were exposed to simulator session to get a first-hand experience about drone racing. Simulator session was supervised by KanavKumr, AkshayKumr and AbhishekMaurya.

The workshop draw good number of participants both from Industry and Academia underscoring the excitement in developing Drones and getting firsthand experience in building Drones. This was the second suchworkshop in Delhi/NCR that SDIoT conducted after their collaboration with IDRL and some more are in the pipeline,AnshulDwivedi Media Maneger SDIoT said.
