Freshers’ Party organised at ITS College of Pharmacy

To warmly welcome the 21st batch of students into the academic family, I.T.S College of Pharmacy organized a vibrant and memorable Freshers’ Party “Shubharambh”, on April 23, 2025 symbolizing a new beginning filled with excitement, learning, and new friendships. Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S – The Education Group said that this event is a celebration of youth, talent, and unity, bringing together freshers and seniors for a delightful event.

Dr. Sadish Kumar S (Director) began his talk with a warm welcome of all freshmen to the vibrant ITS community, and encouraged the students to make the most of their time on during college journey. He emphasized that the event was to foster a welcoming atmosphere for the newcomers, help them integrate with the senior batches. He appreciated enthusiastic participation by senior students, and urged the fresher to promote and serve the community through the use of AI that plays a magnetic role in healthcare professional. The guest of the day Dr. M. Thangraj (Principal, ITS IHAS) welcomed the students to the ITS family. He asked them to serve, heal and improve the quality life of patients. He encouraged them to dream big, stay grounded and achieve the highest mark in life.

The program commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony. Freshers’ party started with energetic dance performances, soulful singing acts, and entertaining skits by students that showcased their confidence, creativity, and unique abilities. The freshers were asked to give their introduction and performances during talent round. Towards the end the judges asked questions to all the first year participants and based on style, poise, and performance, deserving students were crowned Mr. Fresher (Mr. Pradeep Kumar), and Ms. Fresher (Ms. Nupur Tyagi), Mr. Charming (Mr. Anshul), and Ms. Charming (Ms. Vaishnavi) for the year. The program concluded with a photo session and DJ session that had everyone grooving to popular beats, leaving behind unforgettable memories.

The program was a heartfelt welcome & fulfilled its purpose by creating a bond among students and setting a cheerful tone for the years ahead. The function was coordinated by Mr. Chaitanya Vinayak Narayan (Asst. Prof.) and Ms. Pratibha Mundey (Asst. Prof.), supported by Dr. Raj Kumari (Dean) and Ms. Swati Verma (Asst Prof.). The Freshers’ Party was a grand success with the awesome co-operation of students (Mudit & Ria Sharma).
