Greater Noida, 10th Feb – Galgotias University hosted a grand welcome ceremony today to honor its NCC cadets who showcased exceptional talent and discipline at the prestigious Republic Day Parade 2025 in New Delhi.
Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, lauded the cadets for their remarkable achievements, calling this moment “a source of immense pride and joy for the entire university.” He emphasized the significance of their dedication to the nation and reaffirmed the university’s unwavering support for its NCC contingent.

NCC Cadets Shine on the National Stage
Dushyant Rana, NCC Officer at Galgotias University, highlighted that cadets from the 40th UP Battalion (Secunderabad) and the 31st UP Battalion Senior Division (Greater Noida) were selected to participate in the Republic Day Parade. Among them, ten NCC cadets from Galgotias University earned the honor of marching at Kartavya Path, demonstrating their discipline and excellence on a national platform.

Cyclothon Camp and Commendations:
- Under Officer Akash Sharma completed an 800 km journey in 20 days.
- During the Republic Day Camp 2025, he traveled 2,200 km, earning commendations from the Air Force Chief and Central Command.
Republic Day Camp 2025 Special Contributions:
- Kartavya Path March: Corporal Utkarsh Singh and Cadet Harshit Singh Tomar delivered stellar performances.
- Cultural Program: Under Officer Varshitha Pandiri, Samiksha Sahu, and Corporal Aditya Kumar Singh participated.
- Prime Minister’s Rally: Samiksha Sahu, Varshitha Pandiri, and Aditya Kumar Singh represented the university with excellence.
- Inter-Group Competitions: Under Officer Prince Kumar excelled in firing, Army Camp, and Pre-RDC 3.

The cadets had the prestigious opportunity to meet the Vice President, the Chiefs of the Armed Forces, the Defense Minister, the Chief Minister of Delhi, and the Prime Minister of India.

- Natural Wonders: Chidiya Tapu, Manipur National Park, Mudapahad Trek.
- Naval Strength: Indian Coast Guard Dock, INS Utkrosh, MARCOS Special Forces.
- Coastal Beauty: Corbyn’s Cove Beach, Coconut Grove.
