Galgotias University’s School of Hospitality finds place amongst world’s best

CEOWORLD, New York, United States, a well-acclaimed and world’s leading business publication on 17th March 2023 released the ranking of the best hotel management colleges in the world and Galgotias School of Hospitality & Tourism has been ranked 49th in the list and thus became the first and only private institute in India to be ranked among the best-50 in the World.

The ranking was based on the survey of 1,85,000 graduates, industry professionals, employers, and recruiters in 96 territories around the world. Only two other Indian colleges have figured in the list, that is IHM, Chennai at 13th rank (in the government category); and WGSHA, Manipal at 55th rank (in the private category).

This ranking is based on seven major metrics of quality and reputation – (i) perceived global brand influence, (ii) recruiters’ responses, (iii) employers’ feedback, (iv) job placement rate, (v) admission eligibility, (vi) specialization, and (vii) academic reputation. The William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas is at the top slot; the Nolan School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University is at the second slot; and the College of Hospitality Management at Johnson & Wales University is third.
