Greater Noida (21/03/2025): Gautam Buddha University (GBU) has started its admission process for the 2025-26 academic session. The announcement was made on March 21, 2025, highlighting the university’s focus on academic excellence and holistic development. Established in 2002, GBU continues to promote the values of peace and compassion inspired by Gautam Buddha.
The press conference included a detailed overview of the admission process, available programs, fee structures, and the streamlined online application process. The event concluded with the launch of the Admission Brochure and activation of the University’s online portal.
AI Centre and New Programs
GBU has introduced a state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) Centre to promote interdisciplinary research and address societal challenges. For 2025-26, GBU is offering 160 programs across eight schools, including 10 new programs in high-demand fields such as:
B.Sc. (Hons.) Clinical Psychology
Master of Physical Education and Sports
M.Sc. (Operations Research & Computer Applications)
MSW (Medical Psychiatric Social Work)
Master of Design (Interior Design)
Integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. (Ayurveda Biology)
Integrated B.Plan – M.Plan
Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. (Life Sciences & Systems Medicine)
B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering Weekend)
Post Graduate Diploma (Psycho-Social Rehabilitation)
Admission Process
GBU is offering 4,360 seats across UG, PG, Integrated, M.Phil., Doctoral, and Diploma programs. Admissions will be based on:
Merit in qualifying exams (except MBA, Ph.D., and Clinical Psychology programs)
University Entrance Test (GBU-ET 2025) for MBA, Ph.D., and Clinical Psychology programs
National/State-Level Exams (e.g., JEE, NATA, CLAT, GATE, CAT, MAT, UPJEE)

50% fee relaxation for high-performing and SC/ST students
Ph.D. preference for JRF, NET, and GBU-ET qualified candidates
