Gave 50 crores to AAP, was offered Rajya Sabha, alleges Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar

New Delhi, 5 November 2022: Jailed conman, Sukesh Chandrasekhar has once again attack AAP, through his counsel has alleged that Aam Aadmi Party had collected Rs 50 crores from him and offered him a Rajya Sabha seat.

He further claimed that Arvind Kejriwal had urged him to get 20 to 30 persons to donate Rs 500 crores to the party in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu in 2016.

Currently, in Tihar jail, Chandrasekhar is also charged with bribing guards there in order to receive special treatment. In an earlier social media post, Kejriwal had referred to Sukesh as a thug and suggested that his accusations were an attempt to divert attention from the collapse of the Morbi bridge.

However, Chandrasekhar declared that he will file a defamation lawsuit against the Delhi chief minister the following week. Additionally, he asserted that Kejriwal had also joined him at a dinner party following the handover of the Rs 50 crores.

Retaliating to the accusations, Saurabh Bharadwaj, AAP spokesperson, stated, “ The BJP is very worried about the outcome of the Gujarat and Delhi municipal polls and its desperation is so evident that a conman like Sukesh Chandrasekhar is now its star campaigner. Who is Sukesh? Many wouldn’t know.”

Sisodia referred to the accusations made against Kejriwal as “absurd” and further alleged that the BJP has a contract with the conman to manufacture false accusations against Kejriwal every day in exchange for the BJP helping him with his case. “The BJP is concerned it would lose terribly in Gujarat and in the MCD elections,” Sisodia said.

“I have also heard, next week, he will join the BJP in the presence of its party chief JP Nadda,” he added.
