GL Bajaj and Times of India Honour Greater Noida Police at Times Samman 2025
Greater Noida, June 2025: GL Bajaj Educational Institutions, in association with The Times of India, hosted the prestigious Times Samman 2025, a grand celebration dedicated to recognising the dedication, discipline, and exceptional service of the Greater Noida Police Force. The event stood as a heartfelt tribute to the law enforcement personnel who serve as the backbone of public safety and civic order.
The ceremony was graced by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, who attended as the Chief Guest. Her presence, along with several other eminent dignitaries including Member of Parliament Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Commissioner of Police Laxmi Singh, Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar, District Magistrate Manish Kumar, BCCL Board Member Mohit Jain, and Circle CGM of SBI Debasish Mishra, added significant weight to the occasion. The leadership of GL Bajaj, including Chairman Dr. Ram Kishore Agarwal and Vice Chairman Pankaj Agarwal, played a central role in hosting the event.
Anandiben Patel delivered a stirring keynote address, highlighting the quiet yet powerful strength of the police force. She praised their courage and selfless service and spoke about several important initiatives including strengthening police infrastructure to improve Ease of Doing Business in Noida, supporting the economically weaker sections of society, and promoting public health campaigns such as HPV vaccinations and reduced oil consumption. She also encouraged students to broaden their horizons through travel and new experiences and announced the addition of new courses and the development of top-tier universities in the state.
In his address, Pankaj Agarwal expressed pride in hosting such an event and emphasized the importance of honouring those who work tirelessly to uphold peace and law. He called upon students to draw inspiration from the values of duty, discipline, and civic responsibility demonstrated by the police personnel.
The event also witnessed enthusiastic participation from key associate sponsors whose support was instrumental in making the evening a success. Among those acknowledged were Dr. Piyush Dwivedi, Shamshad Ali from Hamdard Laboratories, Dr. Vivek Vaibhav of AAV Group, and Haji Kamruddin of Servokon.
