Greater NOIDA News (7/07/2025): The 19th edition of the Indian Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Show (IFJAS) 2025 concluded today with remarkable success at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. Organized by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), this prestigious B2B trade event was held from July 4 to 6, drawing widespread participation from across the globe and reaffirming India’s prominence in the global fashion accessory and handicraft market.

The event featured over 200 exhibitors, including artisans, designers, entrepreneurs, SMEs, and major manufacturer-exporters from various parts of India. The fair showcased an extensive and diverse range of fashion jewellery and accessories, celebrating India’s rich heritage, artistic excellence, and modern design innovation across five well-curated product segments.

A Showcase of Craftsmanship and Global Appeal

The fair placed a strong emphasis on promoting India’s age-old traditions and craftsmanship, seamlessly blended with contemporary design aesthetics. From exquisite jewellery to elegant scarves, bags, and textile accessories, the product range reflected the exceptional creativity and skill of Indian artisans. Buyers and sourcing professionals from over 100 countries—including key markets in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia—attended the fair, seeking new suppliers, products, and collaborative opportunities.

Positive Response from International Buyers

The TEN News Network spoke exclusively with several international buyers during the event, who shared overwhelmingly positive feedback on both the quality of the products and the efficiency of the show.

David, a veteran buyer from Sydney, Australia, remarked I’ve been visiting India for around 30 years, sourcing handicrafts, textiles, and furniture. This time, my focus was on jewellery makers and artisans working with textiles and fashion accessories. What I find compelling about IFJAS is that it’s a reasonably small-scale show, which allows you to connect with small-scale artisans and manufacturers—people who are truly specialized in their craft. That makes the sourcing process far more personal and rewarding.
And at last he concluded by saying that, the product showcased over this fair were amazing and beautiful. And the show is interesting because it was small, which is to be benifited us to source and connect with small scale producers rathe than big scale industry, and i have met couple of peoples who were really specialized in their field.

Suzana Abud from Lebanon also praised the event’s structure and product variety, I visit India regularly, and every time it’s a great experience. What I really appreciate is how the factories are brought together in one place. We don’t have to spend time traveling from one vendor to another—it’s all here. This year we were looking for beach bags, scarves, pareos, and other summer accessories. The variety and quality we found at IFJAS 2025 were outstanding. The colors, the designs—everything was amazing. It’s a pleasure to attend this fair.

Another enthusiastic visitor, Luca from the United States, noted the fair’s relevance to the digital marketplace, I run an e-business, and this expo was the perfect place to discover unique, quality products while networking with potential suppliers. The craftsmanship here is superb. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the product quality a solid 9.

Handicraft Export Sector Sees Robust Growth

EPCH reported that India’s handicraft exports during the financial year 2024–25 reached ₹33,123 crore (US$3.92 billion). Fashion jewellery and accessories alone accounted for ₹6,252 crore (US$739 million), showing an impressive growth of 7.92% in rupee terms and 5.64% in dollar terms compared to the previous year. This growth underscores the increasing global demand for Indian handmade fashion products.

Strengthening India’s Position as a Global Sourcing Hub

IFJAS 2025 once again solidified India’s reputation as a reliable and creative sourcing destination for fashion jewellery and accessories. The show aligns with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Vocal for Local’ initiatives, acting as a catalyst for sustainable export growth and empowerment of traditional artisans and small-scale producers.

The event served not just as a marketplace, but as a celebration of India’s cultural legacy and innovative spirit—bridging the gap between heritage and modern fashion needs. As the curtains fall on IFJAS 2025, the future of India’s handicraft and accessory sector looks brighter than ever, driven by quality, authenticity, and global collaborations.
