Globoil Asia 2024 – Bridging Horizons in the Edible Oil & Agri-Trade Sector

Tefla’s is proud to announce its upcoming conference, exhibition and awards Globoil Asia 2024, under the theme “Bridging Horizons in the Edible Oil & Agri-Trade Sector”. This theme reflects their commitment to connect diverse perspectives, foster innovation, and create new opportunities in the global edible oil and agri-trade industry. Set to take place from 18th to 20th January 2024 at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Bangkok, this premier gathering will unite industry experts and leaders, making it a hub of knowledge, networking and innovation.

Globoil Asia 2024 will feature a dynamic exhibition, showcasing around 50 stalls from a multitude of countries including China, various African nations, Italy, the USA, and several South Asian countries. This exhibition will host a variety of prominent companies, enhancing the event’s global marketplace atmosphere. Attendees can look forward to engaging with exhibitors like Myande, ARISE IIP, CMB, Sea Trade, City Commodities, TVM Edible Oil Refineries, Arvee Group, Bajaj Earths, JJ-Lurgi Engineering, RSPO and many more.

This exhibition promises to offer attendees a unique opportunity to explore a wide array of products, services, and innovations in the edible oil and agri-trade sector. The diverse international presence at the exhibition will facilitate a rich exchange of ideas and practices, providing a platform for new business relationships and collaborations.

The conference will commence with a welcome address by Kailash Singh, Managing Director of Tefla’s, setting an insightful tone for the conference. The inaugural session will feature a series of introductory addresses from notable industry figures. Atul Chaturvedi, Executive Chairman of Shree Renuka Sugars and Chairman of the Asian Palm Oil Alliance, will share his expertise alongside Arun Raste, Managing Director & CEO of NCDEX. Sandeep Bajoria, CEO of Sunvin Group and Chairman of the Globoil Organising Committee, and Asanee Mallamphut, Managing Director of Sime Darby Oils Morakot, will also provide valuable perspectives. Further enriching the dialogue will be Ajay Jhunjhunwala, President of SEA, Sanjeev Asthana, CEO of Patanjali Foods & Vice President of SEA, Dr. Inke van der Sluijs, Director of Market Transformation at RSPO, and Sudhakar Desai, President of IVPA & CEO of Emami Agrotech. Panel discussions will be a cornerstone of Globoil Asia 2024. The South Asia Palm Oil Session will be a highlight, featuring a panel of distinguished experts from across the industry. This session will include Sudhakar Desai, President of IVPA & CEO of Emami Agrotech, Asanee Mallamphut, Managing Director of Sime Darby Oils Morakot, Dr. Burin Sukphisal from the Thai Palm Oil Policy Committee, and Sandeep Bajoria, CEO of Sunvin Group & Chairman of the Globoil Organising Committee. Joining them are Krisada Chavananand, Managing Director of Vichitbhan Palmoil, Sanin Triyanond, Chairman of the Thai Biodiesel Producer Association, and Khemmapope Gajaseni, Assistant Manager Corporate Strategy at PPP Green Complex. The Session on Sustainability will be expertly moderated by Sanjeev Asthana, CEO of Patanjali Foods & Vice President of SEA. This session will bring together leading voices in the sustainable palm oil industry, including Ashwin Selvaraj, Deputy Director of Market Transformation at RSPO, and Asanee Malumphut, Managing Director of Sime Darby Oils Morakot. A pivotal highlight of Globoil Asia 2024 will be the Oil & Oilseeds Session, chaired by Sandeep Bajoria, CEO of Sunvin Group. The session is poised to offer a deep dive into the current trends, challenges, and innovations shaping the global oil and oilseeds sector.
Featuring an esteemed panel of industry visionaries, the session will provide a comprehensive overview of the industry’s landscape and future directions. 2024-25.
