Greater Noida Press Club organizes Holi Milan, releases Shabdmadhu Patrika 2024
Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Press Club celebrated Holi Milan with pomp and show at Galgotias University in the city today. On this occasion, the release of Shabda Madhu magazine and Holi was played with flowers.
The programme was inaugurated by MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Surendra Singh Nagar, MLA Jewar Dhirendra Singh, Dadri vidhayak Tejpal Nagar, NHAI Chairman Santosh Yadav, Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M, Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, Galgotia University CEO Dhruv Galgotia, Greater Noida Press Club President Dharmendra Chandel by lighting the lamp.
This was followed by the release of Shabdmadhu Patrika Yearbook 2024.
In the program, children of Galgotias University Music Club presented Saraswati Vandana, and CS branch student Khushi Gaur tied the knot with a classical dance based on Holi.
Artists from Mathura enthralled everyone with their Mayur dance. During this, the artists played Holi of Bajr flowers. Women and residents of Greater Noida enjoyed Holi with flowers.
During the celebrations, 6 people were honored in the field of social service, health service, civil service.
In the series of cultural programs, when the great international poetess Sister Kavita Tiwari mesmerized everyone by reciting poems of patriotism with her eloquent voice, she was reciting verse after verse and the whole campus was echoing with applause. When he recited a poem in honor of his daughters, such a wonderful stream of compassion flowed in the campus that the eyes of all the people sitting there were illuminated. Santosh Yadav (IAS), Chairman, National Highways Authority of India, Government of India was awarded the Outstanding Service Award. He was awarded for his amazing effort, dedication, commitment to prepare a visionary roadmap for the construction of expressways and highways in the country, to get them on the ground and to complete the work in a time-bound manner.
Laxmi Singh, Commissioner of Police, Gautam Budh Nagar was awarded the Law and Order Prahari Award. As commissioner in Gautam Budh Nagar, he built four new pickup booths for women’s safety. This created an environment of security among working women.
Triveni Singh, former IPS, was awarded the Manav Seva Samman. Apart from this, Sanjay Chechi was awarded the Nagrik Gaurav Samman for his outstanding work in the field of social service. Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotia University, who has set new records in the field of education, was honored by the Noida Press Club and Hon’ble MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma ji especially for his great achievements by hoisting a scarf and presenting a memento.
Dr. Piyush Dwivedi, Chairman, NextGen Energia was awarded the Outstanding Gaurav Award for Social Service.
Two nursing staff of Sharda Hospital, Renu and Jyoti, were awarded the Swasthya Prahari Award. Both of them saved the life of the woman by delivering the woman suffering from labor pain at Parichowk.
Apart from this, under Social Welfare, Greater Noida Press Club provided support to Shri Sai Akshardham Pathshala for organizing mass marriages of poor girls and providing free education to poor children. Dr. Ajay Tyagi, Chairman Yatharth Hospital Group was awarded the Medical Gaurav Award.
