many distinguished luminaries from different walks of life. Addressing the gathering of

1. Almighty exists in three forms, each of these are equivalents of each other and
are believed in by all religious faiths namely: God, soul and nature. Elaborating
this trilogy he explained that spiritually uninitiated people search for God,
intellectuals find him in nature and spiritually enlightened ones seek the truth of
soul.
2. Man is independent to execute actions of his choice but is always bounded by the
fruits of his actions.
Speaking on the occasion, renowned business tycoon and social worker Shri Mayaram
Tyagi said that Devas consisted of the flowing five groups of people: mother, father,
mentor, spouse and guest. Delving further into the topic he said that we are still bound
by blind faiths that are devoid of rationale. While condemning practices like offerings
of food to the deceased with the belief that their souls shall feed on the same he made
a strong case for combining belief with a scientific temperament as suggested by social
reformers like Swami Dayanand Saraswati.
The Vedic Yagya was presided over by the first woman ‘purohit’ of India, Acharyaa
Lakshmi Bharti and her entourage of ‘Brahmacharinis’ from the Arsh Gurukul, Kaithal
Haryana. The team led by the Acharyaa, Lakhsmi Bharti recited Vedic hymns from the
Sam Veda and explained the meaning and significance of these hymns in the construct
of morality, social behavior and spiritual conduct. She made a strong case for communal
harmony by saying that Yagya is an inclusive act that knows no bounds on the basis
of religion, gender, caste and creed. She urged men to take initiatives for education of
girl children so that it shall lead to women empowerment at the grass roots level. While
discussing the work being done by the Gurukul she said that the Gurukul admits pupils
form different parts of India like Mizoram, West Bengal and other corners to spread
education for the girl child.

to the gathering of participants of the Vedic Yagya stated that the Vedas are the texts
that spell out truth and embraces people of all faiths. Stressing on Vedic culture he said
that Vedic food habits like vegetarianism and life style are premised on scientifically
verified facts and are guided b empirical evidence. He said that Vedic Yagya if practiced
by people on a routine basis can inculcate enlightenment in the psyche of people and
thus thwart social evils like corruption, nepotism, bribery and extremism of any kind.
