Mumbai (India), 13th June 2023: Tamannaah Bhatia has officially confirmed dating Vijay Varma after months of rumours. Tamannaah said that their romance developed “organically” on the set of Lust Stories 2. Tamannaah and Vijay will be seen together for the first time in Lust Stories.
Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma’s romance speculations have been making headlines for a while. Tamannaah stated in an interview with Film Companion, “I don’t think you can get attracted to someone just because they are your co-star. I have had so many co-stars. I think if one has to fall for someone, feel something for someone it’s definitely more personal, it’s nothing to do with what they do for a living, I mean that’s not the reason why this would happen.”
When questioned if things had changed between her and Vijay on the set of Lust Stories 2, Tamannaah admitted about their romance and replied, “He is someone I really look up to. He is someone with whom I bonded very, very organically. With high achieving women, we have this problem, that we think we have to work hard for everything.”
She further added, “ When something is so simple and you don’t have to walk on eggshells to just be yourself because I think in India we also have this that a woman has to change her entire life for someone… He’s a person who I care about deeply and yeah, he’s my happy place.”
Tamannaah and Vijay are frequently seen on dates in Mumbai. When they were spotted enjoying the New Year together, rumours about Vijay and Tamannaah’s romance began to circulate. They were previously seen together on several occasions, including Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in October and a fashion event in November of last year.
‘Lust Stories 2’ will be an anthology that features four new pieces directed by R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sujoy Ghosh, and Amit Sharma.
