Heat wave Intensifies in Delhi, Monsoon not expected before june 6

New Delhi: May is about to end and Summer in Delhi is in full swing. Delhi woke up to a hot Wednesday morning, with the maximum temperature expected to hover around 44 degrees Celsius.



Weather in the national capital is going to go from bad to worse over the next few days. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi will experience heat-wave like conditions from Thursday onwards, with the mercury rising up to 45 degree Celsius. The situation is expected to prevail until the weekend.

In a different report, Skymet Weather has suggested that the city will also experience a dry spell throughout next week as there are no chances of any rain in the city. Skymet also reported that both night and day temperatures in the city are set for a sharp increase in the forthcoming days.

Due to the heat wave conditions prevailing Across the country several schools have been closed.
