Help’s death triggers rampage in DLF-III

A private house in DLE phase III was vandalized on Thursday after a domestic help working there was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her room.

The family of the 17-year-old help, who was from Bharatpur in Rajasthan, alleged she was raped and murdered by her employers and later hung from the fan to make the death look like suicide. Her parents, who live in nearby Nathupur and reached the house within half an hour of being informed of their daughter’s “suicide”, claimed the knot was loose and her feet were touching the ground when they first saw her.
