New Delhi: Members of Hindu Sena organisation protested against Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra for branding Hindus as Terrorist in her American television serial Quantico at Parliament street on Saturday afternoon.
While raising slogans against the actress they demanded apology from
Priyanka Chopra for her comment in the serial and appealed to boycott her TV commercials, movies and so on.
They alleged, a woman, who is daughter of an Indian Army Officer, who got a chance to represent India and was crowned Miss World, Bollywood actress and part of other National and International Humanitarian projects & UN Goodwill Ambassador has stooped to such lows to gain a few dollars and some fame and a desperate attempt to fit in international circle is utterly shameful and disgraceful.
“If she cannot speak good about India & Hindus then she shouldn’t speak negative. Being a professional actor she always had a chance to refuse to act in the scene or get the offensive dialogues referring to Hindus and India as Terrorists modified, but she choose to ignore and shoot the scenes as they have come out in public, showing her disrespect to Sovereignty of India and Indians,” said Secretary of the Hindu Sena Vishnu Gupta.
He gurther said in her recent American TV serial Quantico she willfully acting in a scene which says “India” meaning Indian Govt and our security agencies sponsor and are involved in terrorism to “Frame” Pakistan is nothing but Treason and willfully hurting sentiments of Hindu community.
“Priyanka Chopra has been repeatedly acting against interest of Indian State be it favouring and visiting Rohinghyas or willfully acting in a derogatory scene referring to India and Hindus,” he said.
