Hot, humid day in national capital
New Delhi, Jun 26 (PTI) It was a hot and humid day in the national capital today with the mercury settling around 40 degrees Celsius.
According to an India Meteorological Department official, the maximum temperature was recorded at 39.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum was pegged at 29.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above season’s average.
Humidity level was recorded between 50 and 83 per cent.
The rainfall was recorded nill.
The weatherman, however, has forecasted partly cloudy conditions tomorrow.
“Tomorrow there will be partly cloudy sky with likely development of thunderstorm/lightning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 39 and 30 degrees Celsius, respectively,” it said.
