ICC Cricket World Cup 2019: England vs New Zealand set up for a Big Clash in Finals!

This time the world is going to meet the new World Cup Champion, which will be decided on 14th July. World Cup 2019 final match will be played in London’s historic ground at Lords. So far, Australia, India, West Indies, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are the only World Cup winners. But, this time the world will see a new world champion.


England after defeating India in the league stage and after defeating Australia in the second semifinals reached the World Cup final for the fourth time. The Final Match will be will be played between England and New Zealand on Sunday, July 14. In such a situation, one can say that the world will see the new champion team this time because neither of these two teams has won the World Cup so far.

World Cup defending champion and the five-time World Cup winning Australia team lost by 8 wickets in the second semi-final of the World Cup 2019 in Edgbaston, Birmingham. With this, the team, led by Aaron Finch, ended the their World Cup journey. This is the first time in the history of Australian cricket that the Kangaroo team has lost the World Cup semi-final.

In the group stage, England and New Zealand played against each other in their final match which the hosts had to win to progress.

And England will go into Sunday’s game confident, having won the previous meeting by 119 runs, scoring 305/8 as New Zealand were then bowled out for just 186.
