Greater Noida (06/08/2025): The 8th edition of the India International Hospitality Expo (IHE) 2025 concluded today at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, with record-breaking participation, impactful business transactions, and a strong commitment from exhibitors for next year’s edition. Organized as a dedicated sourcing platform for the hotel, hospitality, and HoReCa (Hotel/Restaurant/Café) sectors, the expo showcased India’s growing strength as a global hospitality hub.

In an Exclusive talk with Ten News Network Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of India Expo Mart, shared key insights and highlights of this year’s event and the roadmap for IHE 2026.

Highlights of IHE 2025

Reflecting on the success of the expo, Dr. Rakesh Kumar said, India International Hospitality Expo was conceptualized eight years ago to cater specifically to the needs of the hospitality and HoReCa industries. Despite the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to a three-year break from physical exhibitions, we continued with virtual editions. Today, as the 8th edition concludes, I am proud to say that it has been a resounding success — not just in terms of footfall but also in terms of meaningful business transactions and quality interactions.

He emphasized that unlike other similar expos held across the country that often focus on crowd-pulling, IHE stands apart by attracting serious business visitors. According to Dr. Rakesh Kumar, exhibitors at IHE 2025 were highly satisfied, with many expressing that this platform delivered more than just visibility — it brought them genuine business opportunities.

“International interest was notable this year, with trade visitors coming not only from across India but also from Southeast Asian countries, further strengthening IHE’s status as a global hospitality sourcing destination.”

Exhibitor and Visitor Response

IHE 2025 featured over 200 prominent brands from the hospitality and service industry, covering a vast range of product categories. According to Dr. Rakesh Kumar, the response from both exhibitors and visitors exceeded expectations. “We’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response. More than 90% of our current exhibitors have already confirmed their participation for IHE 2026 — and what’s even more encouraging is that many have requested larger spaces for next year’s show. This clearly indicates the value they see in IHE as a true business-generating platform.”

Dr. Rakesh Kumar noted that all exhibitors submitted feedback forms and also showed interest in the early bird booking for the 2026 edition, showcasing high satisfaction levels.

Learnings and Vision for IHE 2026

With the 9th edition already in planning, Dr. Rakesh Kumar mentioned that the organizing team has taken several learnings from this year to further enhance the experience for next year.

“Every edition gives us the opportunity to improve. We have already begun discussions with our team to introduce new product categories aligned with the evolving needs of the hospitality sector. For instance, next year’s show will feature expanded segments on interiors, pub and restaurant design, sound systems, and more,” he shared.

IHE 2026 aims to attract a wider spectrum of visitors, from boutique hotel owners to luxury five-star brands, ensuring tailored solutions and diversified offerings across all hospitality categories.

Message to Upcoming Exhibitors and Exporters

In a final message to potential exhibitors and exporters considering participation in future editions, Dr. Kumar advised, many exhibitors tend to underestimate the power of their product range and realize only after participating that they could have showcased more. My message to them is to present their complete product portfolio at IHE. This expo is your platform to reach serious buyers who are looking for comprehensive sourcing solutions. With over 70% of the current space already requested for next year, we are working on a fresh layout to accommodate more brands and larger pavilions.

IHE: A Premier Sourcing Platform for Hospitality

Since its inception in 2018, IHE has positioned itself as India’s leading hospitality trade show, offering a unified platform for sourcing, networking, and business development in the hotel and HoReCa industry. With a strong focus on quality, innovation, and international collaboration, the expo continues to attract global and domestic stakeholders committed to the growth of India’s hospitality sector.

As anticipation builds for IHE 2026, scheduled to be held once again at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, the next edition promises to be bigger, bolder, and more inclusive, reaffirming India’s role as a central player in the global hospitality supply chain.
