Inauguration of AARU Health Clinic for free medical care

Greater Noida (21/04/2023): Today, on Friday 21st April 2023, RJ Foundation, the CSR arm of RJ Corp (parent company of Varun Beverages Ltd.) opened AARU Health clinic at Habibpur, Greater Noida to provide free healthcare services to the people in the area, especially to the poor and underprivileged section of society. The clinic is well appointed with a qualified MBBS doctor and nursing staff and will extend services for free medical consultation and free medicines to all without any discrimination. This AARU clinic at Greater Noida is 9th health clinic that RJ Foundation has opened and 8 are already operational in different area of India including U.P, M.P, Rajasthan, Punjab and Assam. RJ Foundation aims to open over 35 such free health clinics across the country wherever Varun Beverages (VBL) has their factory establishments with the objective to giving back to the society.

In addition to this community health services, RJ Foundation is also running multiple social initiatives in the field of quality education named “DPS Shiksha Kendra” to provide free quality education to the children from underprivileged section of society befitted over 18000 children so far. The Foundation also runs skill development program named “Pravah” providing market linked job oriented vocational training courses for youth, especially women, which has positively impacted over 16000 youth so far leading to their employment and empowerment.

The AARU Clinic at Greater Noida was inaugurated by Manoj Kumar Singh (IAS), Chairman-Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority and Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in the presence of dignitaries as listed below, staff and officers of Varun Beverages Limited, and the local people’s representatives and large number of villagers. This health clinic will be operational from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Saturday and will extend health services to the villagers, migrant labours and all the needy. This free health clinic provides the quality primary healthcare services to the people and support the Government mission of healthy India.
