India E-Vehicle Show & BVTECH Expo 2017  Kick Starts To Showcase Latest Innovations and Products in Eco-Friendly Electric-Vehicle Segment.

The three day international expo dedicated to Electric Vehicle technology is witnessing participation from companies like Hero Electric, DD Auto, OK Play India Ltd., Tri Electric Kiran Udyog, Electrica, YC Electric besides a number of foreign exhibitors. The show witnessed new launches in Personal E-Vehicle space & 2,3 & 4 Wheeled E-Vehicles.

New Delhi, March 27, 2017– The three day Eco-friendly India E-Vehicle Show & Battery Vehicle Tech Expo 2017 (BVTECH EXPO 2017) kick started at Hall No. 7, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi today with a clear objective to promote environment friendly electric vehicles based personal and public transport solutions and curb vehicular pollution menace affecting thousands of people in India.

The Expo was inaugurated by Mr Vijay Goel, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Goel said “Modi Government is incentivising the eco-friendly electric Vehicles segment and has provided facilities like easy loans from Mudra bank and is also covered under Stand Up India. New players are coming up and NCR has become a hub of E-Vehicles. Attention should be given to the security and safety aspects and make these vehicles more people friendly

The Expo is India’s prominent Electric Vehicle Showcase and is presenting the latest technological advancements and innovations in environment-friendly 2,3,4 wheeled electric vehicles, Automotive Parts, Components and Accessories, R&D, Charging stations, Products and services related to this sector.

“The E-Vehicle industry is witnessing rapid improvement in technology, for e.g. introduction of lithium ion batteries in E-Vehicles for public transport as well as private Vehicles. Industry is maintaining robust double digit growth which is likely to get further boost when FAME 2 ( Faster Adoption of Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles) scheme under National Electric Mobility Mission of the Govt. gets underway from April 2017 onwards. Expos like these are important to showcase latest technology and products under one roof where the customer can touch and feel the products and also experience the comfort and convenience of driving one. A Number of new MOU’s and Technology Transfer Agreements are expected to be signed during the Expo which also witnessed new launches in Personal 3 wheeled E-vehicle space as well as in 2,3 & 4 Wheeled E-Vehicles.

Mr. Karan Gambhir and Mr. Kanishraaj Gambhir, Managing Directors of DD AUTO said “DD AUTO the electric mobility company is bringing the future forward. We are showcasing a prototype of a private passenger vehicle called e-Moto which can seat 1 driver and 2 passengers in the comfort and safety of the enclosed cabin. DD AUTO is also showcasing for the first time an environment friendly 3-wheeler in the L5 category named KAPTAAN, Having a capacity of covering 200kms in a single charge with a maximum speed of 45kms/hr”

Around 130 Indian & International companies are participating to showcase their latest and technologically advanced pollution-free 2 wheelers, personal E-Vehicles, E-Bikes, E-Rickshaws, E-carts & Buses  etc besides parts, components and accessories at the Expo.

Mr. Rajan Handa, Managing Director, OK Play India Limited.  said “OK Play has launched a wide range of  electric vehicles  today at the Expo. These will be produced at the company’s eight facilities across the country. This range of electric vehicles is designed for all segment categories- electric rickshaws, electric loaders, electric garbage collecting vehicles,  electric Vending carts and the two-wheeler range. All these will be sold thru Ok Play EV’s  existing dealership network”.

Since E-rickshaw is being viewed as a Zero Pollution mode of transport for last mile connectivity, lot of enthusiasm is seen amongst companies to bring in better and innovative products in this category.

E –rickshaw is a trend at the moment and we want to take this route to enter and establish ourselves in this field. We are re-launching two E rickshaws, the NEW and UPGRADED Electeca PRIME, Electeca ECO ( a low cost model ), and Electeca Loader( a carrier model).
