NEW DELHI-23rd MARCH, 2022- ExpoBazaar, a digital business-to-business platform established by India Expo Mart Limited (IEML), Greater Noida is scheduled to launch at the IHGF Delhi Fair in 2022. ExpoBazaar will showcase India’s selected & curated merchandise with a much-needed global platform through the assistance of IEML’s large network of exporters and accessibility to national and international markets, while also empowering the country’s craftspeople to become self-sufficient.
The e-platform, which markets daily-use, modern, utilitarian products made in India, aims to empower India’s skilled craftspeople by providing them with a global e-commerce platform that will enable them to sell their products directly while maintaining their identity, thereby encouraging them to pass on craft knowledge to future generations.
IEML, with over two decades of experience in marketing and organising India’s largest B2B conferences and trade exhibitions, has ideated the global digital marketplace, paving the way for the inclusion of undiscovered craft-forms from throughout the country. “Through our worldwide digital platform, we are committed to encouraging first-generation entrepreneurs to start and expand enterprises, owing to the simplicity of conducting business online and the lower investment required for online firms compared to brick-and-mortar businesses. Additionally, we want to ensure that India’s traditional and skilled crafts are not lost in the haste of commercialisation.” Dr. Rakesh Kumar, ExpoBazaar’s co-founder, stated.
