Indian Dalit-Muslims demand special reservation from Government

New Delhi (14/10/2019): Today at Jantar Mantar heavily numbered Muslim people gathered and raised their voices to bring government’s attraction towards them for reservation purpose. As it is already announced by several agencies that almost 30% of Indian Muslim community is below poverty line and is facing much worse conditions than Hindu Dalits.

Speaking to Ten news one Muslim person said that ‘government already knows that what kind of economic, educational and many other problems that we are facing today and several agencies have declared that many of our community are facing conditions that are much worse than Indian poor communities.’

Several incidents happened before that were related to reservation demands and today after almost two years of Jat Reservation massacre, Dalit-Muslims of India are now demanding special reservations for their community!

Hundreds of Muslims today gathered at Jantar Mantar raising the Indian National Flag demanded special reservation for their community. May that be water, electricity, education, economic conditions or whatever, their demand is to be treated like SCs and STs so as to avail helpful measures that Indian Government takes for the communities that are provided with special reservation!
