Indian Women Congress protests against Modi governments policies in Delhi

Indian Women Congress today stages a huge protest demonstration against the BJP government in New Delhi. There protestors alleged BJP of tarnishing the social fabric of India. “Three years of BJP government has forced people to come out on streets and to protest for their rights,” President Indian Women’s Congress, Pratima Coutinho said. “She also alleged that Modi’s policies have only been benifitting a certain section of business class of the country. He has been deceiving the poor time and again.”

“People where yet to consolidate from the demonetisation and now GST has broken the back of the country’s poor,” said Congress leader, an actor-turned-politician, Nagma said.

The Congress workers also castigating the BJP government taking credit of the initiatives that Congress had taken.
