All the above that you have talked about are hit and miss systems of medicine, you can never be sure that the medicine prescribed would actually work to eradicate the root cause, there have been millions of deaths due to people believing in these kind of non-scientific, non-channelized pre-historic medicinal systems. It’s like some one claiming that the Mohenjodaro civilization was more advanced than what we have today. I don’t blame you, people still believe in psychics, they believe in yagna’s, they believe in vastu, they believe in numerology, and many more ills, and if you talk to them they will all give you the same non-scientific but scientific sounding explanations, and they will all be believing that what they are doing is actually the most scientific thing in the world, and that the non-scientific western world is too naive to fully appreciate their kind of science. Even a dog when it has a bad stomach finds some leaves to chew, that does not make him an ayurvedic doctor.
