New Delhi, 11 May 2022: The Times Professional Learning launched the Post Graduate Programme in E-commerce and Supply Chain Management on 11th May 2022 at New Delhi.

The event entailed panel discussions on “Developing Student Employability in a Changing World” and “2030: Employment Growth in e-Commerce and Supply Chain in India”. The discussions involved the need of skill-related programmes for the students, to make them suitable for the workforce. The panelists also stated that in the present times, the students have grown more participative in selecting and pursuing the employable courses.
The curriculum that is being taught is decades old, about 20-25 years old and is not relevant to today’s industry requirements or a particular sector. While the industry is clear that they are looking for people with good attitude, certain domain knowledge and a bit of the relevant technology, said Parikshit Markandey indicating that there is a good supply of graduates but of no use.
