The inaugural session began with a welcome address by Dr. Abhilasha Gautam, Principal of the Institute. She emphasized the importance of respecting India’s linguistic diversity, stating that sensitivity towards knowledge traditions can only develop when native languages are valued and preserved.

Addressing the gathering, Major General (Retd.) P. R. Murali, VSM, Managing Director of the Army Welfare Education Society, underlined the need for quality education rooted in Indian values. He stressed that education must combine academic excellence with ethical and cultural foundations to prepare students for contemporary global challenges.

The special guest speaker, Professor Chand Kiran Saluja, Director of the Sanskrit Sanvardhan Pratishthan, spoke on experiential learning, describing “learning by doing” as the true basis of education. He highlighted how practical engagement enhances personality development and also raised concerns about the excessive use of mobile phones by parents, noting its adverse impact on children’s mental and social growth.

Professor Saroj Sharma, Dean at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, participated as a special speaker. She reflected on the historical role of Indian knowledge traditions in shaping world civilization and highlighted the philosophical depth of Indian education and its enduring global influence.

International perspectives were shared by Dr. Rajrani Gobin from Mauritius and Dr. Deepak Waikar from Singapore. The conference witnessed participation from over 200 delegates, who presented research papers across multiple technical sessions. Discussions focused on Indian knowledge systems, multilingual education, intercultural dialogue, global teaching traditions, and innovation-driven pedagogical practices. The exchange of ideas provided fresh insights into integrating traditional wisdom with modern educational frameworks.

During the valedictory session, the Chairman of the Institute congratulated the organizers and participants for the successful conduct of the conference. He emphasized that regular academic interactions of this nature are essential for strengthening international relations through knowledge exchange and urged that the outcomes of the conference be utilized to further enrich the Indian education system.

Concluding the event, Dr. Ritu Rani, Program Coordinator, stated that the conference served as a meaningful platform to understand the global relevance of Indian knowledge traditions and promote innovation in education. She explained that the primary objective was to create a common forum for researchers, teachers, and scholars, enabling constructive synergy between India’s educational heritage and contemporary global knowledge systems.
