New Delhi, July 30, 2023: Sriharikota witnessed yet another milestone as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched PSLV-C56 (PSLV-C56) with six co-passenger satellites from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) on Sunday. The historic launch took place at 6:30 am today, marking the 58th overall PSLV flight and the 17th in the Core Alone configuration.
The PSLV-C56, a Dedicated Commercial Mission of NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) for ST Engineering, Singapore, was launched from the First Launch Pad (FLP) at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. The primary satellite for the mission is DS-SAR, a remarkable Radar Imaging Earth Observation satellite. Accompanying DS-SAR are six co-passenger customer satellites, all hailing from Singapore.
