ITS Engineering College ECE Students Visit Semicon India 2025 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida, organized an insightful Expo visit for its third and second-year students to SEMICON India 2025, held from September 2–4, 2025 at Yashobhoomi (IICC), New Delhi. This premier event, themed “Building the Next Semiconductor Powerhouse”, was co-organized by the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) and SEMI, and inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The event featured over 350 exhibitors, country pavilions, six round-table country sessions, a Workforce Development pavilion, and dedicated startup zones. Distinguished exhibitors included major names such as AMD India, TATA electronics, Applied Materials India, Agilent Technologies, Cadence Design Systems, and ASML.Students witnessed the latest in semiconductor design, fabrication, packaging, AI-enabled smart manufacturing, and industry-academia innovation. Such exposure served to bridge classroom learning with real-world industry applications, inspiring them toward future careers in chip design, fabrication technologies, and electronics manufacturing.

The visit was coordinated by Prof. Prabhakar Sharma, Dr. Agha Asim Hussain, Prof. Shahid Khan, and Prof. Shivam Gupta, whose guidance ensured that students maximized their learning from this landmark industry event.
