Kejriwal announces increment in minimum wages of 55 lakh workers!

New Delhi (28/10/2019): There has been some increase in the minimum wage in Delhi. Recently, the Supreme Court had approved the decision of the Kejriwal government to increase the minimum wage.
After this, now the Kejriwal government announced the increase in dearness allowance, which will be increased every 6 months with minimum wages. After the announcement of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the minimum wage in Delhi will be something like this:
The wages of unskilled laborers have been increased from Rs 13,550 to Rs 14,842.
The wage of a semi-skilled worker has been increased from Rs. 14,698 to Rs. 16,341.
The wages of skilled laborers have been increased from Rs 16,182 to Rs 17,991.
Non-metric wages have been increased from 14,698 to 16,341 rupees.
Metric but not graduate wages have been increased from Rs.16,182 to Rs.17,991 and for Graduates and above from Rs.17,604 to Rs.19,572.
In fact, the Supreme Court had implemented the Kejriwal government’s announcement of increasing the minimum wage earlier. Due to which the minimum wage laborers and workers had already started getting in Delhi.
But now after the final decision of the Supreme Court, it was also approved to increase the dearness allowance on the minimum wage every 6 months. Therefore, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced to increase the dearness allowance of April 2019 and October 2019. Also, it was informed that the pending dues of their dearness allowance from October will also be given to the workers and employees.
