New Delhi (02 November 2025): IILM University Gurugram has kicked off its three-day Leadership, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Summit 2025 with a spectacular inaugural session held at the IILM Lodhi Road Campus, New Delhi. The event, designed to celebrate the spirit of visionary leadership and transformative ideas, brings together policymakers, business leaders, educators, and students from across the country.

The summit commenced on November 2 with the IILM Convocation Ceremony 2025, graced by Amitabh Kant, Former G20 Sherpa and former CEO of NITI Aayog, as the Chief Guest. During the convocation, Doctoral Degrees (Honoris Causa) were conferred upon several distinguished individuals for their exemplary contributions to society — including R.C. Bhargava (Chairman, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.), Kapil Dev (Legendary Cricketer), Abha Adams (Educationist), Rajeev Sethi (Designer and Cultural Visionary), and Abha Dalmia (Philanthropist and Industrialist).

In his inspiring welcome address, P. Dwarkanath, Chancellor of IILM University, Gurugram, emphasized that education is not merely about acquiring knowledge but about shaping behavior, building character, and transforming knowledge into practical skills. Reflecting on the wisdom of his mentor, Guru Dwarka Ji, he shared, If a person possesses Knowledge, Attitude, Skills, and Habits — what I call KASH — they can overcome any challenge in life.

He further noted that the world is undergoing rapid transformation across politics, management, and society, and success today requires the ability to adapt and thrive amidst change. Technology is not an adversary but a powerful ally, he remarked, stressing the importance of embracing Artificial Intelligence and digital innovation as essential tools for progress.

Highlighting the growing role of women in leadership, Dwarkanath lauded their rise across various sectors as a sign of India’s evolving social and economic strength. He also underscored the enduring significance of ethics and character, quoting a well-known business leader: Take away my money, buildings, and brands, but leave my people — and I will rebuild everything in ten years.

He added, In today’s fast-paced world, even ten years is too long. Agility, innovation, and adaptability are the keys to rebuilding and growing stronger within two or three years.

Concluding his address, the Chancellor outlined four essential pillars for future success — Talent, Technology, Transformation, and Teamwork. He emphasized that no achievement is ever the result of an individual effort but rather of collective vision and collaboration.

India’s journey toward becoming the world’s third-largest economy is a living example of what unity, innovation, and determination can accomplish, he said. As future business leaders and responsible citizens, our graduates must learn to turn every challenge into an opportunity — guided by knowledge, ethics, and teamwork.

The IILM Leadership Summit 2025 continues over the next two days with interactive panels, discussions, and networking sessions, focusing on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and technological advancement — reaffirming IILM University’s commitment to nurturing leaders who can shape a progressive and equitable future.
