Lloyd organized its Annual Fest ‘Lloyd Carnival 2019’, to mark holistic development of students

Greater Noida (30/03/2019) : LLOYD Group of Institutions organized its Annual Cultural Fest, “LLOYD CARNIVAL-2019” on 29th March 2019. It was a daylong event held in the Institute’s campus. The Carnival was declared open by the Group Chairman, Manohar Thairani, who welcomed teams from different colleges and stressed upon the importance of such activities for the holistic development of the students.

The Carnival saw a wide range of activities like Ad-Mad show, Rangoli, T-Shirt painting, Mimicry, PUBG War, Poster making, Solo singing, Mehndi, Fashion show, Solo dance and Group dance.



The welcome speech was delivered by Manohar Thairani, President, Lloyd Group of Institutions. In his speech, he gave much importance to the need for arranging such a programmes. He encouraged the students for their laudable performances. He also expressed that it is his dream to see events like this take place more often, at the campus.

About 1050 students from 42 universities, B-colleges and technical institutes of Delhi-NCR gathered inside the Lloyd Campus to exhibit their talent and skills in various art forms. Some of the participating institutes were Ramjas College, Lady Irwin College (DU), Galgotias University, G.L. Bajaj Institute of Management etc.

Lloyd also invited and felicitated leading faculty members from different institutes of the region. The event had a soul to it – vibrant, contagiously colourful and exuberant with mesmerizing music, finger-licking-good street food and much more.

This full of energy and dazzle event concluded with a quick award ceremony for all the winners of the day. The top ranking students of previous session were also awarded with the annual scholarship cheques by the Group Director, Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Arora, who congratulated all the winners and applauded the healthy competitive spirit of all the participants.
