Metro Hospitals & Heart Institute to go ‘GREEN’ on the eve of ‘World Environment Day.

Metro Hospitals & Heart Institute, Noida will be turned ‘Green’ on the eve of World Environment Day (June 4) at 7:00 pm to celebrate ‘World Environment Day’ and encourage people to adopt air friendly measures.

It merits mention here that heart disease and air pollution are strongly linked. In fact, 2012 WHO report suggests people dying of air pollution linked cardiovascular diseases are more than that of all the other air pollution linked diseases combined.

Small-small measures like cycling to near-by shops instead of using vehicles, car-pooling, switching-off engines at traffic lights, planting trees, using recyclable products, and conserving electricity can go a long way in bringing about a change and making people healthy.
We would like to request you to kindly cover and feature the activity in your newspapers/ news channels so that message reaches among people at large.

For more information and/ or to meet Dr. Purshotam Lal, Chairman and Director – Interventional Cardiology in person for a discussion on the subject; please call Mrs. Chhaya Malhotra at 8527-222-111 or Mr. Kumar Sushant at 9643-015-697.
