Moral cops ‘inspect’ Greater Noida park again

Members of Mahila Shakti Samajik Samiti have once again started conducting surprise checks at Greater Noida’s City Park to discipline couples making a public display of affection, weeks after they thrashed a couple during a moral policing drive. Samiti members visited the park on Tuesday evening.

Samiti president Rupa Gupta said a group of six women and some locals visited the park for inspection in the evening. “We found a positive change after our first drive as most of the people were seen maintaining decency in the park. We counseled and advised the few couples we found in compromising positions that it was an offence,” Gupta said.
