Mumbai (15th March 2025): Mumbai’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has arrested Kapil Dedhia, a wanted accused in the New India Cooperative Bank misappropriation case. Dedhia was apprehended in Vadodara and brought to Mumbai, where a court has remanded him to police custody until March 19.
Investigations have uncovered ₹12 crore in Dedhia’s account, suspected to be linked to funds from Dharmesh Paun, Arunachalam, and Hitesh Mehta. Authorities are now deepening their probe to trace the full extent of the misappropriation and identify other potential links in the case. Further investigations are underway.
