NCPs Ajit Pawar lauds new parliament, urges parties to resolve issues and work for people

Pune, 30th May 2023: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader, Ajit Pawar, praised the inauguration of the new Parliament building and suggested that the Members of the Parliament or the MPs, come over and work for the citizens of India.

He further called for the parties to resolve their issues and fulfil their duty of working for the betterment of the ‘common people’ of India, as he lauded the opening of the Parliament. He added that the Britishers constructed the previous one and that many states, including Maharashtra, have constructed their own parliament houses after independence.

He also stated that with the increasing population, the people’s representation should also increase and that despite having a connection to the old building, a new one was necessary.

He further praised the speed at which the entire process was completed and added that the building was built in record time. The construction work continued even during the pandemic and would serve as a new beginning.
