Nepal PM arrives in India on four day visit

New Delhi, 31st May 2023: Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal, often known as ‘Prachanda,’ arrived in India on Wednesday for a four-day official visit, the Ministry of External Affairs informed.

Dahal, who took office in December of last year, will visit India from May 31 to June 3 at the request of PM Modi. The Nepalese leader is also scheduled to meet with President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar during his visit.

He arrived in Delhi at 2:50 p.m on Wednesday at Indira Gandhi International Airport and begin his official engagements on Thursday by laying a wreath at the Mahatma Gandhi memorial and then taking part in a series of meetings including one with PM Modi.

The leader is also expected to visit Ujjain before his departure back to Kathmandu on Saturday. He has an event scheduled in Indore as well.
