PCR Staff apprehended one person involved in robbery and recovered Country made pistol with live cartridge, from the area of PS Narela.

On 14-15.08.15, the PCR staff of Outer Zone PCR apprehended one person and recovered a Country made pistol alongwith live cartridge, from the area of PS Narela.

Profile of the accused:

Sequence of the incident:

At about 03.00 AM, the sub-division Checking officer (L-64) called the PVs Libra-44 and Libra-47 at Ramdev Chowk, Narela to brief the staff in connection with ID Arrangement 2015. During briefing a tempo driver namely Arvind s/o Ramprakash r/o B-230, Gautam Colony came to them and stated that two unknown boys on a m/cycle bearing No. DL 8S AW-3969 tried to rob him and also fired on him. On this, both the PVs made search for the alleged boys and the staff succeeded to apprehend one of them identified as Sunny Khatri s/o Ramesh Kumar r/o H. No. 1423, Pana Paposiya, Narela, Delhi age 19 yrs. During the formal checking, the staff recovered one country made pistol, one live round, five mobiles and one pack of chilli powder from the boy. The staff also recovered the m/cycle allegedly used by him which was stolen from the area of Mukhmel Pur reported vide online FIR No. 8822 dated 01.08.15. In this regard a case vide FIR No. 1021/15 U/S 392/394/307/411/506/34 IPC and 27/54/59 Arms Act was registered at PS Narela, Outer Distt., Delhi.
