New Delhi: Kisi Din, a bouquet of romantic ghazals of Mirza Ghalib and Pakistani poet Amjad Islam Amjad was launched in National Capital today.
The ghazal was composed and voiced by well-known ghazal singer, Ghulam Abbas Khan. He also release video song of popular song ‘Wo Jo ham Me tum Me qarar Tha Tumhe Qarar tha’
During the launch, Ghulam Abbas Khan enthralled the audience with his heart touching voice and ghazals of Mirza Ghalib.
The album was released under the banner of Bazm-e-Khas, a group work for the development of the urdu ghazals.
Founder of Bazm-e-Khas Ved Gupta and Ustad Ghulam Abbas Khan selected the poetry, composition and style of musical arrangement, making this album a prefect combination of love and emotion.
Speaking to Ten News, Ghulam Abbas Khan said, ‘The album, “Kisi Din’ is a perfect combination of love, music and ghazal. There are eight ghazals in the album of Mirza Ghalib and Amjad Islam Amjad. The lines are old but music is totally fresh.’
Bazm-e-khas
Aimed to promote Urdu language and nurture new talents, Bazm-e-Khaas, was established by Ved Prakash Gupta in 2000, who is educationalist and a passionate connoisseur of music.
The organisation is dedicated in promoting Urdu Ghazals and Hindustani Classical Music.
Bazm-e-khaas has two streams, one where established singers and artists come to perform and share their knowledge and experience and the second one is where our young talent is given a chance to present their music and polish their presentation skills.

Gupta has a very innovative idea to introduce people specially today’s generation to our own music and its different genera like classical, semi-classical, Sufi music, ghazal and instrumental.
