Noida Authority links GIS system with its website, all information available online now

Noida : It will be now easier for anyone to get information about any plot, building, hospital or metro as Noida Authority has now connected its website with an integrated GIS (Geographic Information System).

A Geographic Information System (GIS Software) is designed to store, retrieve, manage, display, and analyze all types of geographic and spatial data.

Such kind of system is already being used by Yamuna Authority and was launched on 1st January 2018. Now with Noida authority also making use of this system, it will be very convenient for Noida residents to access such information through website or mobile phones.

In the next stage of this project, the information of available land pockets as well of expected plots to be available under future schemes will also be made available.

Speaking about this GIS system Noida officials informed that NA’s GIS system will be making use of model as similar to popular google maps and hence satellite images, city map etc shall be available in different formats.

As of date anyone can access these information on the website of authority without making any special ID. The system is still being updated and more features will be added with time.
