The crackdown was jointly conducted by police teams from the Sector-63 and Ecotech-3 police stations with the objective of curbing substance abuse in public spaces, maintaining law and order, and ensuring a safer environment for residents and visitors.

According to police officials, the operation was carried out across several public locations, including markets, roads, parks and other crowded areas where people were found consuming alcohol and intoxicants in violation of the law.

During the special drive, the Sector-63 police station took legal action against 72 individuals who were allegedly found consuming alcohol or other intoxicating substances in public places.

The Police Commissionerate stated that the drive was conducted under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida) and the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida). The operation was executed by police teams working under the leadership of ACP-1 and ACP-3 of Central Noida.

Officials said the campaign was aimed at discouraging behaviour that negatively impacts the social environment and often contributes to disturbances in public order.

The Commissionerate maintained that such enforcement measures are part of an ongoing effort to ensure discipline in public spaces and prevent activities that could disrupt normal civic life. Police authorities reiterated that sustained action will continue against individuals found violating the rules.

During the operation, police personnel also appealed to members of the public to avoid consuming alcohol or any other intoxicating substances in public areas and to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in maintaining social harmony and public order.

The police further warned that strict legal action would continue against violators and similar special drives would be carried out in the future to ensure compliance with the law and to keep public places free from activities that may adversely affect the community.
