Noida Metro Rail Corporation makes elaborate arrangements for security of Aqua route, signs agreement with PAC

Greater Noida (04/12/18) : Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has made adequate arrangements for the safety of aqua line metro by handing over the security arrangements to PAC.
A total of 600 Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) Jawans will be deployed on this route of Aqua line. An agreement has been signed on Monday for this which includes the Jawans of PAC 41, 47 and 49th battalion. Kalpana Saxena Commandant of 49th PAC battalion will be the security in charge of Aqua Line.
Within 10 days, the arrival of PAC jawans will begin and after that security standard will be examined by the Railway Safety Officer in the second week of December. Thereafter on the basis of their report, operations will began on the aqua line .
For verifying the safety standards all the stations and the entire rail track was surveyed by the Commanding Officer of NMRC on Friday.
As PAC has been appointed for the security, commanding officer has started conducting meetings with their officers to plan the deployment of Jawans on different station and make a full proof security arrangement.
The 29.707 kilometers long rain route has 21 stations and once it gets approval from Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) it will be inaugurated by PM Modi .
