Offices-Schools to remain close as Capital to observe “Delhi For Children Festival” on 14th November

Deputy CM Manish Sisodia today addressed a press meet in which he announced the outline of a grand children festival in the Capital on upcoming 14th November.
He said, “Any investment in education is for National development. Considering the last few horrofic incidents with children’s in School”.
He said, “On occasion of 14th November ‘Delhi For Children’ festival will be organized in all over Delhi. There will be activities at more than 100 venues on this occasion including Bal Mela, Fest, etc’.
On Government support of the same he said, “Delhi government will felicitate all these activities. Many NGO’s and Market associations have also come forward to take part in it.
The aim of this festival is that children should feel safer and they should get a sense of belonging”.
He also announced a public holiday in the capital on the day and said, “All schools and offices of Delhi Government will remain close on the day”.
