Outokumpu to show case its highend stainless steels at India OIl & GAs World Expo 2014

Finland based Outokumpu, leading stainless steel manufacturer will be showcasing its products and capabilities focussed on the growing Oil and Gas industries as well as extend support for critical requirements in the related field of refining, energy, shipping and port operations during the three day Indian Oil & Gas World Expo 2014 to be held at Bombay Exhibition Centre from February 10-12, 2014.

Among the long list of its special grades, Outokumpu will present new products including EDX 2304, an improved version of duplex stainless steel 2304 featuring higher corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. EDX 2304 is especially suitable for oil & gas structures and other demanding applications. Outokumpu’s new duplex stainless steels FDX 25™ and FDX 27™ have similar formability to austenitic grades while featuring all the outstanding properties of duplex grades.

Mr Mats Benson, Vice president , Outukumpu’s Avesta Works in Sweden. will address the Expo’s Port Conference on Outokumpu specialty stainless steels for chemical tank terminals, and Outokumpu Vice President and high-performance grade specialist Bernd Beckers will make a presentation on innovative materials for safety and sustainability at the Expo’s Oil & Gas Conference.
