PC Gupta Bail Plea Hearing Adjourned

Greater Noida (30/10/18) : Hearing on the bail application of the main accused, retired IAS PC Gupta, in the land scam case of 126 crore under Yamuna Authority area has been adjourned. The main accused PC Gupta’s advocate has asked for a week long time to read the response filed by the police. Because of this, the matter could not be heard in the High Court on Monday. The High Court has fixed the next Monday’s date for the hearing of the case.
It is notable that the police had arrested PC Gupta, a retired IAS officer and former CEO YEDIA was arrested from Datia in Madhya Pradesh on June 22. He is accused of land scam of 126 crore while holding office. It is alleged that while staying in the post, they had benefited from their close relatives and the land was purchased after going out of the master plan. PC Gupta’s case is under consideration in Meerut’s Anti Corruption Court. In the case, bail application has been filed in the High Court. The hearing on which is to be heard. PC Gupta is currently lodged in Meerut jail.
Enough evidence has been filed in the High Court by the police to dismiss the bail application that has filed from PC Gupta side. The time has been sought by the defendant to read told Amit Kishore Srivastava, CO First, Greater Noida
