New Delhi, Oct 30, 2022: In his monthly “Mann Ki Baat” broadcast, PM Narendra Modi hailed ISRO’s recent success in placing 36 satellites in space simultaneously.
He went on to say that this launch will help strengthen digital connectivity across India and even the remotest areas will be easily connected to the rest of the country.
He further noted that India was once denied access to the Cryogenic Rocket Technology but its scientists had swiftly come up with an indigenous technology.
PM Modi referred to ISRO’s feat as a successful example of his government’s push for self-reliance. He said: “When the country is self-reliant, how, it reaches new heights of success, this is also an example of this.”
He further added: “Indian industries and start-ups are engaged in bringing new innovations and new technologies in this field. In particular, the collaboration of IN-SPACe is going to make a big difference in this area.”
He also heaped praise on the power of students and said student power is the basis of making India powerful.
