New Delhi, 26 April 2022: Prashant Kishor has refused Congress’ offer to join the party, said a party spokesperson on Tuesday.
Kishor, an election strategist, had suggested the Congress party to undergo some structural changes, after which, the party constituted an Empowered Action Group 2024, offering him to join the party party as part of the group with defined responsibility.
“I declined the generous offer of Congress to join the party as part of the EAG & take responsibility for the elections. In my humble opinion, more than me, the party needs leadership and collective will to fix the deep rooted structural problems through transformational reforms,” said Kishor.
